Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems

SCADA systems can involve hundreds or thousands of monitored and controlled devices and systems.  We provide the expertise to develop these systems from the ground up, including monitor/control point definition and database, algorithms for calculated monitoring points and control points with multiple outputs, common use cases for typical point configurations, processes, and sequence of operation; device interfaces to PLCs/RTUs in the field including interface terminal strips, termination locations for devices, serial/Ethernet interfaces and as-built documentation of field conditions.  We not only help develop the design to wire these systems in the field, but we define the central control interfaces, including software interfaces.  Our experience includes software development, based upon the point database.  LG has worked to deploy SCADA systems using not only off the shelf software, but off the shelf software (OTS) coupled with custom software developed to enlarge or enhance the capabilities of OTS software.  LG has extensive experience with testing and commissioning complex SCADA systems with thousands of devices and points, including system upgrades that require the existing system to remain functioning until cutover, writing cutover plans, testing procedures, and performing the testing.  Our experience includes not only SCADA systems, but integration of SCADA systems into a common user interface at control centers integrated with ITS and other systems and software.  LG SCADA system experience includes industrial automation, substation monitoring and control, transit, fire/security systems, building/facility systems, and weather stations. .  LG SCADA experience includes:
